We have an electric gate for some time but to open it requires us to be on top of it to be in range with the provided remote control/ zappers.
This means that our vehicle which can be a tractor and trailer are half on the road and half on the property. We are situated near a bend on a country road and there has been quite a few occasions where I have nearly caused an accident when I have been in the tractor waiting for the gates to open. With Gateslave I can open the gate from several hundred meters away and when I arrive in the entrance the gate is open and we can get safely onto the property without delay.

We are situated on the edge of Dublin city and recently installed new electric gates for security and peace of mind. There are a number of houses on the property using the gates and they are in constant use. The real benefit is that there is no need for us to have remote controls which we know from experience get easily damaged and mislaid. Also they remain a real security risk as they are often left in cars unattended and have been stolen in the past along with the cars.

I use the Gateslave many times a day. I no longer have to worry about being stationary outside our gates waiting for the gates to open on a dark evening. I know that this is when a person is most vulnerable when sitting in a stationary vehicle. I can now safely open my gates by voice command or pre set number on my mobile phone.

We use Gateslave in the 'Logging Mode' which allows me to see when the gate was accessed by whom and at what time of the day or night. By simply logging onto the website using my unique ID I can view the what time and when the gate was accessed .
This has proved very useful for staff movement and management. We also have number of parking spaces rented behind the site. I can now add and remove customers who have or have not paid their account.
I no longer have to wait to catch up with the customer. When they cant get in, they call me and we get to solve the issue with no more time delay

This is an excellent product for any property management company, as it does away with messy fobs/remotes and allows users to be added or removed in seconds on the secure Gateslave website. This will make the job of controlling access so much easier than it currently is where Fobs have to be paid for in advance and posted out to the resident. |
